Service may give directions to:
Co-ordinate the
activities of more than one utility
Minimise
disruption to the road user
Exchange
programmes and co-ordinate work at local level through DRAUCs [Divisional
Roads Authority and Utilities Committees]
Effect a ban on
excavations for a maximum of one year in a newly resurfaced
street which had been notified to the utilities through either programmes or
NISRANS.
